RULES

[LEX ?!]

i know, i know. you really don't want to have to read them all, but guess what. if you don't, do you honestly think i'll accept you? the password is hidden within these written rules and i, lex, took my sweet own time to write them. so if i had to write them, read them. it's that simple!

001. respect is key. if you want someone to scream and fight with you, you're really not welcome here. every member is different, so that means we're not all going to agree, but take it to staff if you think things are getting to heated. you've been warned once.

002. every board has it's meaning. don't post some AIM thread in the board walk. that just means you're being silly. and sure, we make mistakes, but you can still move the thread you know.

003. this is a mature site, so that means drugs, sex, alcohol and violence will happen. if you don't like it, don't join. this also means i'd like you to be at least 13 to join.

004. for those that feel they need to go all the way, please post a warning in the title or in the post where things are starting to get heated. we do have PG eyes wandering over the internet and i'm sure that some aren't going to want to just bump into a thread where bobby and cindy are getting it on.

005. we all have personal lives, so you know what that means. don't go off bugging some one every five seconds they don't reply. we run into writers block sometimes, so take a break. try and be understanding. no one likes someone that says 'HEY, POST NOW BETCH'.

006. when you make you're application, you have five days to do it. that's one school week. so, i know we have school and stuff like that, but that is plenty enough time to make it. the password is 'if i die and go to hell real soon'

007. your posts must be at least 400 words. if you want to post more, go ahead, but no less. it's understandable to have an off day, and being under by little is fine for one or two posts, but not all of them for a week.

008. pictures are not to stretch the page, nor are they to have any nudity. it's gross, and no one really wants to see it. especially on a board where younger people may be looking around. if any pictures stretch the board or contain nudity, we're going to warn you. oh, add 'it will appear' to the password.

009. use common sense. don't post a million threads that you won't be able to keep up with. use spell check even ooc. not everyone uses chatspeak, and not everyone can decipher it. and, there are no vampires or anything. this is a town, not twilight.

010. you MUST make your claims. it's essential so we know what's taken and what isn't. we can't just remember who has what. making sure everything runs smoothly is a group effort.
011. this shouldn't even need to be said, but no perfect characters. no one is really perfect, but no one has this horribly dreadful life. make it realistic, not just some dramafest.

012. pregnancies must be run by admin, and you must role play for three real weeks before your character can give birth. also, twins must be approved by admin, because not everyone can be having twins.

013. no god-moding or powerplaying or whatever you want to call it. it's not fair. unless the other person tells you it's okay, this shouldn't be happening. what they're thinking may be different than what you are. also add to the password 'to me as this room'.

014. you should have an avatar and signature. both is preferred, but at least one will do. others need to know what the other character looks like, and it's good to help us know what obs are taken.

015. please make sure your display name for your account is all lowercase. i can not stress over how annoying it looks otherwise.
