Mianoth....Just another city in a world where fantasy has become the reality. All those stories of old where humans existed with magical folk such as fairies and elves and where all those creatures who went bump in the night, all coming together as one to try and scratch out a way of life for their kind. A place where the common world as we know it, still evolving and progressing but in a much different way than the common good likes to perceive it. This city is a meeting point if you will, a place where all those supernatural creatures sort of meet and converge, all under the lazy eye of normal folk, commonly called Rinder Kinder or the Blinde.

You see, long ago, when sword and sorcery ruled the world and when technology was the fantasy, a war was waged, leaving one race almost extinct and thrown into slavery. The Elves, the once proud pinnacle of civilization, found themselves beset on every side by enemies. The Coven, humanity's magical wielders, saw the wonders which the Elves possessed and true to their greedy nature, sought to take what was not theirs to have. The Vampires, always ready to better their kind and put themselves one step closer to world domination, saw the opportunity to put one threat down and allied themselves with the Coven and their servants, the Shape-shifters.

The Great War as it came to be called, nearly destroyed the Elves and left a very large power vacuum, which eventually led to the war between Vampires and the Coven. Of course, thanks to the coven, the Rinder (regular humans) were manipulated into hunting their once malevolent masters, the Vampires, thus pitting the world against itself once again. And that my friends, is where things stand now, although, now in a time where such stories are regarded as myth and legend. However, everyday, more and more of the supernatural veil is lifted.....just what side will you be on when it disappears completely?
