The too long locks of dark black hair fell into his face for about the hundredth time during the lesson. Shane merely lifted his hand, shoving the locks back away from his face as he peered our over the heard of students. Some faces were turned down, furious writing down the notes. It was college. Get a recorder for god sakes. He sighed softly to himself, turning back to the board. He grabbed the remote for the projector, turning his slim body to press the button that brought the display screen to life. The glare of light made Shane flinch; squinting up at the machine clinging to the ceiling. “You’ll be expected to have notes ready for a review coming up on Tuesday. I expect you to have this lesson memorized before I have to turn in mid terms.” His dark eyes casted out toward the class, smirking. “And this time, no water bottles with answers on the paper, okay JD?” He watched, grinning sarcastically as the boy shrunk back into his seat some.
Shane’s eyes flickered back to the seat he was so used to looking at. His eyes scanned over the face, feeling his lips curl into a private smile only that face knew what it meant. He forced himself to look back at the projector screen, making sure it was working okay before stepping back and going to his desk. Ten more minutes and his students would be free. Ten more minutes and he’d get to show the affection he was dying to give. He pressed his body back into the seat at his desk, clearing his throat and grabbing the papers he had yet to grade for the lyrics unit they were just finishing up. Shane pulled on his reading glasses, sighing as his hair fell back into his face. For a professor, he was young. For a professor, he was young and attractive. When he had just started only a year ago at the university, his class had been a group of girls that were fawning over their music teacher. That was until they all found out he was actually gay.
His thoughts slipped away to where he knew they weren’t supposed to be. Really, what he was doing was wrong. Having a relationship with one of his students. Not only would it get him fired, but if the staff of the university felt they needed to press charges, he could get tossed in jail. But either way, he couldn’t keep his mind clear of what had happened just last night. The way he’d fallen asleep in Brayden’s dorm. His arms curled around him so protectively, as if nothing could get to Brayden when Shane was holding him like that. He smiled at the thought but was forced to push them away when he watched the screen go black. Shane stood up, turning the projector off. He passed out the simple work sheet and glanced at the clock. Five minutes left of class. Silence feel over the room; just a few mumbles every once in a while. Over all, Shane wasn’t a bad teacher. The students actually liked him before he was more their age and knew how stressful being in that kind of situation.
The bell let out a shrill cry from the hallway, making him glance at the door. “Brayden, I’d like to see you at my desk, please.” His eyes glanced up, easily finding the boy in the crowd filling toward the door. Shane stepped forward once most of the students were gone, stepping into the hallway and grabbing the door to pull it closed and let the lock click closed. The smile that had been so private during the class was more open now, letting the loving expression file over his face. Shane closed the distance between them, gently pressing Brayden back against the wall behind his desk, knowing it was hidden from all others to see. His arm wrapped around the small of his back, pulling himself closer to the boy. Their forehead were pressed together in seconds, followed in sync by Shane’s lips eagerly pressing onto Brayden’s. Oh, how amazing that taste was. After letting the kiss linger for a long moment, he pulled away. Whimpering at himself for the action. “I swear, it just gets harder and harder each day.”
Pretending he didn’t have feelings for one of his students was one thing. But hiding that he was in love was another. “I missed you, so so much. God. I can’t stop thinking about you. Ever.” His hot breath rolled over the soft skin of his neck while his lips made gentle kisses to Brayden’s pulse.

Near the beginning of the school year the music professor had informed them that they would be taking a lot of notes and that he didn’t recommend that people spent their mindless time writing down every word he wrote or let slide over the board in the power points he constantly made. Brayden was never too worried about copying them down, he would doodle down little words that were shortened phrases that only he could understand and he was good to go. If he needed the information he could always ask for the notes from Shane later on, or well, Mr. Evans if you would dare to say it formally. It was his teacher and he shouldn’t openly call him Shane in front of other people because that might raise the suspicion, but then again he could just say they were friends. They were close to each others age and so it wouldn’t be a bad thing at all, would it? If only they all knew that there was something more than just a small friendship relationship between the student and teacher. When he looked up from behind his laptop – his way of doodling down the notes really – he caught a glimpse of the smile that dared to pierce through the classroom at him. Brayden’s heart started to race and butterflies attacked at his stomach and he smiled back softly before he turned back to his notes for the few minutes they had left in class.
The end of class was always a drawn out wait that they both longed for. However, Brayden found him staying calm and relaxed through the whole class period whereas Shane was a different story. He could see through the teacher façade in front of the class and knew Shane wanted to not keep everything such a secret, but they both understood the consequences. Thinking about their daily routine after class made him grin to himself and a faint giggle left his lips before he glanced up at his boyfriend behind his desk; looking at his paperwork. A few people stared at him with a pondering eye as he giggled and looked at their teacher. He rolled it off his shoulders and shrugged, whispering, “What? I thought of something really funny,” that was really smooth and was able to get his friends off of his back for the time being. Nobody had suspected anything so far in his class and it was hard not to let something slip. He was a hopeless romantic and hated to have to keep things a secret when he just wanted to hug Shane and shower him in bouquets of flowers and just sweets. That was a good idea though! The fingers that were resting on the keyboard quickly typed it down and he made both a mental note and reminder so that he could do that. He and Shane were going out soon anyway, so it’d be perfect for their next date.
Dark brunette locks fell in front of his face as he concentrated on the worksheet that Shane had passed out for them and closed his laptop. He wasn’t packing up, but he knew he’d have to soon. He was too engulfed in his ideas of the date and how he would spend it with his boyfriend. It would end like last night did because that had made him feel so secure and that all of this wasn’t just a joke on the young student at the university. Waking up with the strong arms around his back and to the beat of Shane’s steady beating heart had made Brayden’s day no matter what anyone said to him. Nothing could pierce him while he was standing this high up on the cloud because of one person. An unbelievable thought that he could be so happy over a small affection, but when it came to Shane, it was possible…
The sharp scream of the bell made him jump in his seat before he started to pack up his things and follow the people out to the door, “Brayden, I’d like to see you at my desk, please.” Everything just stopped and he didn’t move any further and let the people bump into him as they exited the room and left to go home, their dorm, or to another class that they had to attend to today. Brayden set his bag down and made his way to Shane’s desk, butterflies growing and he started to get nervous as he thought about all of the possibilities. All of them besides one of course, sex. That had been a set rule ever since they dated because Brayden wasn’t ready for that yet. Even at the age of nineteen, he wasn’t ready to do something that extreme until he was sure he really loved the person. Shane, well, he was positive that he loved him, but he had to see where it went in the next few months. “Another after class meeting Shane?” the thickly laced accent that left his lips didn’t get to finish the sentence and was cut off by the wall making contact with Brayden’s back. A small gasp left his lips and his stomach tensed up when he felt the small shock of lips against his. It was electrifying and drugged him up like poison.
Gasping for air he let his eyes peak open to stare at Shane and take in his face as he spoke. His dark irises glued to Shane's lips as he spoke. Brayden's heart started to pound faster and he feared that people all the way across campus could hear him. Small hands reached up to hold onto the side of Shane's shirt for some support as he tilted his head back against the wall, "Mmm," he gulped down any other noises, "How can you miss me already? I just saw you this morning," his voice had become a little airy.

Brayden was the one that had it easy. He could just shrink back into his seat and let the crowd hide him. For Shane, it wasn’t that easy. He had to stand at the front of the class room, showing his full body to every person in that class room. But then again, maybe it wasn’t so easy for Brayden. He had to watch Shane be the firm, asserting person that never once entered his personal life. With his relationship, it had all been secrets and lies. But between them, it was so much more than that. They’d hidden from everyone for five months. But Brayden was just a freshman. There was so much space for something to happen and break between them. For Shane, that was a terrifying thought. He didn’t ever want to not have to see Brayden’s face again. When he graduated, he could buy a ring. He already had the proposal thought of. The classical, charming way. Make the love strong, and then tie it with the ring. Perfect.
If only he could fast forward time. That would bring him both his need quicker and it would bring him up to the time when he could bond them together. Shane smiled wider as his eyes scanned over the paper below him, checking over the answers with his thoughts consumed of when and how things were going to happen. He knew his feelings were real for Brayden, and he was pretty sure it was a mutual thing. That agreement they had come to was starting to lay thin now. They were falling in love with each other, no matter how wrong it was. Was it really wrong for two people to love each other because there was a rule against it? Could he really be denied what his heart felt so strongly for just because of school terms? The answer? The answer was no. Shane wasn’t going to ban himself from Brayden. He needed him to be a part of his everyday life, even if it was ‘wrong’.
Hearing that accent drift toward his ears made Shane shiver. Just being this close to Brayden was enough to satisfy him. He had forced himself to place Brayden’s seat at the back of the class. Sometimes, they took risks and got a little too close when Brayden purposely asked for help. He recalled the one time he had almost kissed Brayden’s cheek when he had went to go and help another student. Shane couldn’t really control himself with it came to Brayden. It was his one weakness that he didn’t have a strength to fight with it. Their lips meeting was like heaven to him. The blissful feeling that rushed over his body as he held his lover close and allowed them to embark in an embrace that could only fit Brayden against his chest so tightly. It was as if Shane was made for Brayden. He exhaled with his teeth biting into his lower lip, knowing he was becoming clingy. “If I could have an in class meeting, I would.”
The whispered words had edged from his voice with a hint of desperation. He wanted to be able to hold Brayden; to kiss him openly. But he couldn’t. Not with other people watching. Even away from the campus, he had to be careful what he did with Brayden. If anyone asked why he was seen with the boy after hours, he simply said it was just tutoring lessons that Brayden’s parents had requested for him. He couldn’t hold himself back from his boyfriend; not when the chance to be alone with him like this happened. His fingers edged up under the hem of his shirt, pressing against the warm skin that was covered under the layers of fabric. Brayden had a beautiful body, but with and without clothing. He could recall sleeping with Brayden clothing less, even if it was rare for them. They’d had a few times when he’d have to step back from Brayden a little while to keep that rule; the one rule a safe point for them.
“Because I love you,” he breathed out, gently pressing his lips to the sensitive skin he recognized as Brayden’s ear. He pulled back just a few centimeters to speak again. “And if you love someone, you can’t stand being away from them for a long time.” he whispered, smiling. He held Brayden closer to him, smiling with such caring and affection in his lips that it was enough to make his heart start to skip beats. He licked his lips, letting his hand slid a little farther up Brayden’s shirt. “Dinner, tonight. My apartment?” Brayden should of known that this night was going to be different. They hardly ever went to his apartment, considering it was too far away to get to classes in the morning with both of them. But it was Friday, which meant he had Brayden all to himself. Okay, so it wasn’t fair that he was helping him with his studies, but he only helped when Brayden asked.
“All weekend. Just you and me. No hiding.” The hopeful future flashed before him as he waited for a response. Sex. He was ready for it. And as far as he could tell, so was Brayden. But he wasn’t going to rush. That didn’t mean he couldn’t toy around at all and explore Brayden’s body. He kissed his throat, smiling to himself. He was daring enough to latch onto the skin, pulling it into his mouth a leave a dark, redish brown bruise on Brayden’s neck. His. No one else’s. He grinned down to the mark, turning his eyes up to Brayden’s with a small haze of joy and love.

In Brayden's opinion, he did not have it any easier than Shane did. though, he'd admit that Shane had it pretty bad because he had to sdn up in front of the class all of the time with his boyfrid in the crowd of students he was teaching. If he happened to get a hard-on while teaching because he had dirty thoughts, then he would ultimately be embarrassed. Unless he was sly enough to sneak away behind his desk until it went away, but that wouldn't happen. Shane could hide it if he wore the proper clothing though or hid, but Brayden couldn't hide it away from anyone that sat around him. Sure he sat in the back of the classroom but the people that sat around him were a lot of curious people that were worse than monkeys. They were interested in something with Brayden, probably his unique attire or the fact that he was the only smart one with a laptop. Whatever it was, they noticed every small thing that he did or said, so he couldn't hide anything if he got a hard-on by dirty thoughts. That would be very embarrassing for him because then Shane would know that he wasn't too innocent on the inside of his head. There was a reason for the no sex rule.
The furthest with them that he had thought was the end of the class and what they were going to be doing this coming up weekend. Anything further than that had yet to enter his head and he never would have thought about marriage. Even in the long run of this relationship. Brayden was only nineteen and didn't need the stress of that because the university was tough enough on the freshman. Having to keep things in secret and at an after class meeting was hard on him emotionally because he had to hold things in. Even if they didn't have meetings after class, they had to be very careful of where they were and what they were doing there. Anyone could see them and talk about it to one person and some how it could get back to the administrator at the school and Shane would get fired or worse. His first relationship and if they slipt up once it could ruin everything that they tried to build up five long months ago, "I wish we could have these meetings all the time," he slurred out in a slightly seductive voice; that was new for him to use. He wondered if Shane even liked that at all...
Physical touching didn't bother Brayden all that much because he wasn't afraid of that, but anything more and he would end up hyperventilating and freaking out. Shane understood his limits when it came to physical touching and when things were too much for the younger male to withdraw. From the very beginning he had set the no sex rule and informed Shane as well as how far he would go without leading to sex. Even if it got too far, Shane knew that for a small boy, Brayden could be forceful and get out of the situation if he got too uncomfortable with it. Right now, it was fine and his stomach reacted to the soft touches of hands. It did more than just make his stomach tense up, but it made him feel more relieved that he wore loose pants tonight to class. His hands clung onto the shirt that hung loosely around his teacher's torso as he pulled his chest closer and also his hips a little for some friction.
His heart stopped beating. It felt as if it had just stopped working when he heard the word 'love'. Brayden didn't understand why it was such a shocker for him right now since he had heard it so many times before, but it was and it made him react in such a different way than before. Maybe he was really falling for Shane hard, "Even if you are only away for a few hours? Aww, you're so adorable Shane," a slight coo left his lips as he giggled faintly.
Before he could contain himself a very faint moan left his pouty lips from the other pair agaisnt his neck and around his ear. Shane knew that his ear was very sensitive and drove him crazy if he touched it and he seemed to be near it a lot this time around. "Dinner, tonight. My apartment?” There was a catch to it all and it all led up to those few words, but it wasn't anything new. They went out for dinner many times, but what was new and made Brayden's heart skip beats now also.... his apartment. That was like a foreign land that he rarely ever saw, but only heard about. What else was with going to Shane's house though... it was so far away from campus and he wouldn't be able to come back and forth between other places he might need to go to. All weekend? Being alone at his house was a little intimidating for him because it would make more pressure for him for them to have sex. Shane had always been ready for it and maybe he should just give in already. Dark brunette bangs fell back in front of his eyes and he moved his head in a different direction to look up at Shane, "All weekend? No interuptions?" absentmindedly he gulped and pulled his body suddenly closer against Shane's. His hands grasped tighter on the older man's shirt as the hickey was formed on his neck and he couldn't help but to moan out again, he bit on his lip.
When the hickey was a very dark and noticeable mark on his neck he finally gasped and stared at Shane in a small daze before he stood up on his toes. His lips brushed up against his ear as he prepared to say something to him, "I think I'm ready then," with that small sentence it held more than one meaning than that he was going to come to Shane's house for the weekend, but that he was going to finally have sex with his boyfriend after five months. Brayden let himself fall back against the wall as he looked up at the taller person and waited for his reaction...

There were so many thing that they could consider for each other. Shane was a teacher and Brayden was his student. After Brayden graduated, he could resign from his position and use the money he had been smart enough to store away for them to have a decent life together. Shane hadn’t fallen in love before, and when you fell, you could either float down to the ground of fall flat on your face. He was hoping that the first would be what would happen between them. Just a few more months and then it was summer for the university and he could be with Brayden as much as they wanted to, as long as they went to another part of the city together. Shane didn’t want to have to be separated from Brayden for days at a time. After all, he’d need somewhere to stay during the summer season and Shane wasn’t going to allow him to go all the way back to London. Not unless he got to come too.
That accent was a deadly weapon on it’s own. When a seductive purr was added to the words, it could kill a man. Okay, not kill, but it could make a shiver run it’s way over Shane’s spine and start to make the pressure on the front of his jeans to grown. His lips greedily covered every inch of the skin at the voice, still trying to recover enough to give a reply. “Once you’ve graduated, we will be able to. No more hiding. No more of this wanting something we can’t have.” He breathed the words out, letting them pour down Brayden’s throat and over his chest. Shane really hadn’t been touched in such a way since he had started dating Brayden. He respected his thoughts on waiting for sex. But that didn’t mean it was easy for him to be able to sit and watch Brayden and not have the urge to just… do something. Hearing that sweet voice fill his ears again brought a brighter smile in place.
Of course it was hard for Shane to have to be away from Brayden for just a few hours. He wasn’t allowed to think about him then, even if he broke that rule. Shane didn’t want to think about Brayden then because then he could get hard in class and have to hide from his students. Terrible. “Mmm. Of course I miss you even if it’s only a few hours.” His voice was quiet and gentle, showing the easy affection he was able to commit with Brayden. In his thoughts, he was set on keeping things slow for Brayden. Sure, it’d been five months and normally he went into a relationship with having sex the first month, but for some reason, he wanted to wait for Brayden, until he was ready. If he was ready this weekend, then he’d make up a plan to make it a time that Brayden would never forget, even if it was his first time and you tended to not forget that experience.
His eyes searched his boyfriend’s face, trying to figure out if this was really what he wanted. Shane’s smile eased into something of caring and affection. His lips pressed to his forehead, keeping the touch gentle. “Are you sure?” His smile remained the same, not wanting to pressure Brayden into something that he didn’t want to do. His hand moved up, brushing through his hair. “I don’t want you to do something you don’t want to do.” His eyes searched Brayden’s, waiting. Even if Shane really wanted this, he would wait if Brayden wasn’t ready. Of course he would. He wasn’t going to screw this relationship up.

Each weekend ever since they started to date they had alternated between Shane’s house on rare occasions and Brayden’s dorm for the weekend stays. The dorms were much closer so they most often went there and hung out watching movies and cuddling against Brayden’s bed. It might have seemed boring at the time, but it was by far better than doing nothing at all and trying to keep things too down low from everybody. Every weekend was a new adventure and he never could wait until then because they were fun. Being with Shane was the best time in his life so far for the past five months. If the twenty-three year old could wait for him to have sex, they were going to last. Hopefully all the way to summer break that waited patiently for them in a few months. Endless weeks spent together would draw them closer to one another; they couldn’t go a day without having to see each other at least once. Voices didn’t cut it between Shane and Brayden, only visual meetings could work. Gerard, Brayden’s Father, had already asked him about his plans for summer vacation and at first he was planning to go back to London and see his step-mother and his father, but everything changed as soon as he had arrived here. Meeting Shane changed everything before he knew what they would become after a short time when school started. Going back home was the least of his concerns because he’d be going home with Shane, not by himself either way it went.
They were grown men and you would think that they would be able to be open with their relationship, but they couldn’t. If Shane wasn’t his teacher then it would have been perfectly fine, but if he hadn’t taken Shane’s class, they wouldn’t be together. Shane would have ended up with some random girl or guy that would have ended by now most likely, or they would be the same way that him and Shane were right now. That hurt to even think of someone else taking his place in the arms of his current boyfriend, so he stopped himself before going any further. His graduation day would be the day that they could announce their relationship to everyone… if they even lasted another three years together. “When I graduate I will be the happiest person in the world… like I am now,” a wide smile fit snug on his lips as he stared up at his boyfriend with naturally wide eyes, “Because then everybody will know what is rightfully mine and I wont have to worry about them flirting with you,” even if they were public about their relationship, he knew that it wouldn’t stop people from trying at least, but it was a good thought for now. It made the young male feel better about their relationship as if when people knew, they would stop bugging Shane. He didn’t want to think of anyone else trying to get with his boyfriend, but the only way they could get with him was if they offered him sex most likely. That thought made Brayden cling onto Shane even more as they stood there, tangling their bodies together.
So far in the school year he could only recall one time that he had gotten hard by thinking about Shane in the middle of class, but he had excused himself as if nothing was wrong. That day he had worn a big jacket because it was cold, so he could cover it up pretty well as far as he thought. No one suspected that he was hiding a boner underneath the entire jacket. That was what he got for seeing Shane every other day in his classroom because it made him think bad things, “Well, you shouldn’t miss me because you know you will see me everyday pretty much,” and that was roughly the truth because if he didn’t see him one day he would make sure to see him the next day. Sometimes, but rarely, he’d go one day without seeing Shane, but as soon as he saw him again everything fell back into place and they would act as if they hadn’t seen each other for years. It was really cute and he loved those moments because he felt as if he meant more than the world to Shane when he acted to loving. Despite adoring those moments that they acted as if the world would end from not seeing each other, he tried to see his boyfriend at least once a day because they almost always slept in his dorm when Shane didn’t have a lot of papers to grade or anything like that. Having a lot of grading to do was the only downfall of Shane being a teacher and his teacher for that matter because it limited their time together. Brayden always forced himself away when Shane had to do important work like that even though most of the time Shane protested, he got it done first either way.
Shane deserved something more than just small affections and making out in Brayden’s dorm room. After five months of being together it was the least that he could do for his boyfriend and he felt as if perhaps he was ready for something like that. He knew that he was pretty much ready, but he liked the fact that Shane asked him if he was sure about it. It just showed him that Shane really didn’t want to do anything unless he was one hundred percent sure about it. Dark eyes just stared up at Shane even when he kissed his forehead, he gulped and his voice was small, “Yeah, I’m sure,” he nodded his head slightly and he was sure about it. The look on his face didn’t falter and show that he was lying about being sure. Shane could see through anything when he tried to say he would when he really didn’t, “I’m ready,” Brayden repeated.

Having a long relationship was something that was actually rare for Shane. It was hard for him to commit to something that he lost interest in. With his relationship having to be secret with Brayden, it had gotten him closer and now he couldn’t imagine his life without Brayden. It just made his day when they were able to go home with each other on the weekends. Summer break would be even better when he was able to wake up to Brayden laying right next to him every morning when ever he wanted to. With a smile broad on his lips, he slipped forward some to peck his boyfriend’s pouty lips. The toxic taste that coated his lips had Shane addicted none the less. He stepped farther forward, loving the way their bodies happened to mingle together so well. He was planning on allowing them to last for those three years. And then there was graduation. They couldn’t really say their relationship right after Brayden graduated. That would probably make the staff question if he had been having a relationship with him before the graduation date.
A playful smirk took place on his lips as he rolled his eyes. “They don’t flirt with me…” Okay, so that was basically a lie. “Well, I don’t flirt back anyway. They should know I’m taken.” He nodded some, smirking to himself as his teeth nipped at Brayden’s lower lip. “Besides, you shouldn’t worry. I love you and that’s it.” He nodded his head some, making their bangs tangle together. They couldn’t just suddenly burst out that they were a couple. He knew that it’d be holding them back some, but this way there wouldn’t be much questioning. “But you know, when you do graduate, he have to take things slow. We can’t just… announce it. It’ll probably make they think I already had relations with you while I was still your teacher. I don’t know if they could do anything about it legally, but they’d probably fire me.” He wrinkled his nose at the thought, but he eased when he realized it could get him closer to Brayden that way. “Not that that would be a bad thing if I got to be with you more…” He trailed off, lost in thought.
His shoulders lifted in an innocent shrug. “Regardless, I still miss you. I wish I was your only class so that that way I got to see you for the whole day instead of sneaking around the halls to get to you and then having to lock my door after class.” Shane smirked some, closing his eyes and sighing. He did like it when he was able to be close to Brayden like this. When they had to go a day without seeing each other, it normally put him in a bad mood. Most of his students had an idea that he was in a relationship, but he just wasn’t very public about who it was. Even then, a lot of them became a little to attracted and pushed themselves forward. He remember the first time he had kissed Brayden. It had been after class and they were discussing something that had happened in class that day. Suddenly, everything had changed and he had been holding the boy’s face in his hands and their lips were latched together in a tight, but passionate kiss. Just thinking about it made Shane want it to happen again.
With a smile, he pushed their lips together, mimicking the passion that had filtered between them during their first series of kisses. Shane pulled away to allow Brayden his air to speak. His eyes set with the matching dark brown ones. A wide smile spread over his lips when he realized Brayden was really ready for this. He mashed their lips back together, kissing him erectly. His hands moved up to caress his face, holding him close. Sex. Finally. Oh god, it was making him hard then. He swallowed, feeling embarrassed. Shane pulled back slowly, nodding. “Okay.” He whispered, licking his lips. “I’ll pick you up in twenty minutes then?” He paused. “Or do you just want me to go with you back to your dorm and I’ll wait for you there?”

Before he had started to date Shane, there had been a girl that he had dated even though he had told himself he’d wait until college to be with someone, he felt bad for hurting people’s feelings. So he was nice to a girl that had come into his life before he moved to America. There was his first girlfriend, Lucy, who was the best thing that had happened to him, or that was what he thought when they were dating for nearly a year. But Brayden had been too selfish how she put it and so she dumped him after their year anniversary, which left him sad. A few months afterwards he finally was able to say he was over her. After that, he had never been with anyone until he found Shane. When he liked someone, he didn’t stop liking them unless they pushed themselves out of his life. He had grown attached to Shane quickly and he was so glad that they had even lasted to their fifth month anniversary. Almost half a year with the older man and everything couldn’t be any better. Brayden had gotten lucky for landing such a nice guy for his first and hopefully last boyfriend in his life. If they were going to keep it going they would have to be careful when they finally announced their relationship when Brayden graduated. How long would they have to wait?
He shook his head and let his bangs fall into his eyes, letting the locks stay there, “I know that they do Shane. I’m not that slow… I notice these things. They throw themselves at you all the time even when I’m around,” it happened in class often, and outside of class when him and Shane are talking about school. Or pretending to when they go out and run into people they knew. He had never worried too much because he had Shane’s reassurance and he trusted Shane way too much to think he would dare to cheat on him, “I know, and I love you a lot too, but it’s annoying to have the all over you constantly,” making a small face by scrunching up his nose, he changed it quickly to get serious with the next topic that was coming out of Shane’s lips. He gulped and looked down at his feet, “I don’t want to make you lose your job because of me. I’d love more time with you, but I don’t want to make you lose anything because of me… How long do you think we should wait after I graduate to announce it then?” he didn’t look back up, but Shane was right and he knew that he was. Being the cause of Shane losing his job made him upset at the thought, so he wouldn’t mind waiting extra time until they announced it.
Pushing his hair from his face he looked up at Shane when he started to speak again, “Well, I like sneaking around between classes because it’s fun,” it was like playing a small game, but at other times he didn’t like having to hide things from other people, “Being a music major makes me have to take more than just your class. I wish you were the only class I could take because I love being in your class.” Being in this music class with Shane let Brayden keep an eye on him without even having to do it on purpose anymore. People stayed away most of the time when he was in the same room with Shane, but he quickly learned that most of the students set the rumor out that Mr. Evans was dating someone. Their problem was that they didn’t know who and that always made Brayden smile because he knew who it was. He was that person. Ever since the beginning of the year he had been the one that Shane snuck around into secluded places just so that they could share a kiss that could mean a million things bunched up into one thing. Their first kiss was like that and made him go weak all over and occasionally they shared a kiss like that or even better on certain occasions. It made him long for a kiss just thinking about their first one in his classroom. This very classroom held a lot of firsts for Brayden. First day in college, first kiss, first boyfriend, and just everything.
It was as if Shane was reading his mind because he was pulled into a kiss that was very similar to their first one and his knees immediately started to tremble underneath him. He tightened his hands into small balls with the gathered fabric of Shane’s shirt in the middle between his fingers and palm. The reaction that he got from Shane was that he was really excited about being able to finally have sex with his boyfriend. It made butterflies fly around his stomach harshly as he kissed him and stared at Shane with sincere eyes and a wide grin on his face. His hands loosened a little at Shane’s shirt, but he still kept himself close as he debated on whether he wanted Shane to come back to his dorm or not. Pursing his lips he thought a little more, “How about you come back to my dorm with me and help me pick out what to wear over the weekend,” he looked up at Shane and continued to grin at him.

It would seem like there wasn’t ever going to be a right time to ask about previous relationships. For Shane, it wouldn’t exactly be that bad, but it wouldn’t be that good either. He had finished high school and went straight onto college. There, he didn’t drink, nor did he ever do drugs but he was tossed around from person to person. Of course, he was always safe when things got a little too far, but after he had become a professor at the university, he had shoved all the other following people that had tried to withstand a relationship with him away. Shane wasn’t going to bring his previous life to his new life. He had moved to a great apartment and he had a good job. And now, he had an amazing boyfriend that he wasn’t about to fuck things up with over something as stupid as his past, or the others in the class that tended to throw themselves at Shane.
At first, it had been to keep his job. But after Brayden, it was to keep his relationship going. Besides, most of the people were female, and with Shane being gay, that wasn’t ever going to work out. A sigh slipped from his lips as he listened to Brayden speak. “You aren’t slow at all. And I know they do, but it’s really easy to ignore.” He wouldn’t dare to cheat on Brayden- ever. With this relationship, he planned on making it last far for as long as he could. Really, he could see himself with Brayden… and there being a ring on his finger. Just the thought of that made his heart jump dramatically. Shane hadn’t ever thought about proposing to someone before. Could he really be that serious about this relationship? He thought about that for a long moment, staring at Brayden with a slight smile. The answer to that? Yes. He was serious.
“Then don’t think about that. Just think about who you get to go home with and who they don’t get to go home with.” His smile widened some and he leaned over, pecking Brayden’s lips in a reassuring kiss. But the seriousness that the next topic they took on made his smile disappear and his eyebrows to pull together. Even though Brayden was looking down, he kept his eyes on his face, watching him as he spoke. He was quiet for a long moment after he finished, focusing on pulling his boyfriend closer to him. Shane’s had slinked up, grabbing Brayden’s chin and making him look up. He let their eyes meet, smiling softly. “I would give anything to be with you,” His voice was soft; sincere. And he would give anything to be with Brayden. Even if that meant having to give away his job. “Another month maybe. That way they can think I contacted you after you left the university.”
It seemed like a good plan at least. A small chuckle pushed from his lips at what Brayden said next. The following smirk brightened his features. “Well, I would hope you like my class. I would want to bore you to death.” He rolled his eyes, leaning in toward Brayden again to keep himself close. If it happened to get out that he was dating Brayden, they would have to be extra careful in what they did. He knew that he couldn’t just sneak into Brayden dorm anymore. They wouldn’t be able to do as many things together because more people might be watching. It made him sigh softly. He glanced back up when Brayden spoke again, making the grin widen over his taunt lips. He nodded some. “Okay.” He glanced toward the door, slowly pulling back from Brayden and moving toward his desk. Shane packed the few things he’d need for the weekend, considering he did have papers to grade.
After he had every ready, he turned to Brayden and kissed his forehead. “I’m following you.” He smirked, remembering countless times when he had to say that for them to be sneaking around campus. He grabbed his keys and went to the door, unlocking it and stepping out into the nearly empty hall. The classes for the next period had already started and most of the other students were off getting ready to leave for the weekend. He glanced back and Brayden, nodding for him to come closer. Who didn’t live their lives on edge sometimes?

Unless Shane brought up the topic of past relationships, he wasn’t going to bring it up at all. It wasn’t his business to ask Shane about his past unless he wanted to tell him about all that he had done. Brayden wasn’t going to pressure him into doing something he had no intention of doing and to him; he didn’t want to know about it anyway. He’d only get jealous and push Shane away to deal with himself, so it was better to not even bother with it. All that mattered for them right now was their present relationship with each other and they should have been thanking the people before them for being there because if they hadn’t, then they would have ended up in different places then now and with someone else. That was the positive way to think about it, but Brayden just pushed it out and stared up at Shane, listening intently. A small sigh left his full lips and he ran the pink muscle in his mouth over his lower lip slowly, “Not when they do it in front of me. It seems like they’re doing it on purpose to get under my skin too,” there was a slight pout at the end and he stuck his lip out and whined. He didn’t like people messing with what was his without asking permission first. It wasn’t that he feared that Shane would cheat on him; he knew he wouldn’t unless maybe there was sex involved with the other person, but even then he doubted it. Brayden and Shane loved each other and his boyfriend wouldn’t ruin something as wonderful as this… or he hoped and prayed that he wouldn’t ever do that to him.
A cheerful giggle left his lips and he smiled wide enough to show the two rows of teeth behind his lips, “Yeah… thinking that makes me feel like the luckiest guy ever to be able to go home with Mr. Evans,” he stepped closer to him and pressed his chest against his, looking up with a wide smile still. That had definitely changed the mood and made it turn around in a different direction. As the beating of his heart started to race he pressed his lips softly against Shane’s chest for small affection. Those small affections always set the mood off good for both of them. Although the next topic had made him drop his head, Shane made sure to make things better for him and the fingers under his chin made his breath get caught in his throat as he was pulled up to look into those dark brown pools that always drowned him. A whole month after he had graduated? That would feel like torture for him, but he had to think about the good sides of this extra wait he had to endure. They wouldn’t be the odd couple anymore because he was no longer a student and it wouldn’t be wrong at all. A lot of people got together in a month, so it wouldn’t seem like they had just jumped into a relationship. They would have known each other for a few years prior, so it would be worth every day, “I think a month would be good. They won’t get too suspicious of us then, but still. That’s a long time and I wish I wouldn’t have to wait that long, but it’ll be worth it in the end,” leaning up on his toes, he captured Shane’s lips in a very passionate kiss.
His shoulders rolled back in a small shrug as he looked away as if his class was really just a big bore to him, “Your class is really fun. Especially at the end… when it’s just me,” his voice paused as he pulled at the other male’s shirt to be closer to him, “and you,” there was a slightly devilish smile planted on his lips; rooted down and not budging away. His hand had to fall from the shirt as he finally got the approval of Shane coming with him. That made him happier even though he wasn’t sure exactly what he was going to be wearing either way. After standing there for a moment just staring at Shane gathering his work, he turned on his heel to pick up his own side bag and slung it over his head so that it rested against his small hips. It was always the same routine whenever Shane came with him to his dorm when he spent the night, but tonight was different. He would be showing Shane his dorm and then they would get into Shane’s car and go to his house. Brayden hadn’t been there enough to say that he remembered exactly what it looked like, but he had been there once or twice so he could say he had at least seen it. Lips were pressed to his forehead and he jumped a little as he was torn from his thoughts, he smiled at Shane, “Okay. I remember the routine,” nodding his head lightly he followed slowly after Shane as he unlocked the door. When he was able to go on outside he did so and turned down the almost empty hallway and out the double doors so that they could go to his dorm. It actually wasn’t that far from where the music building was for music majors. This was a good thing to him.
There was a steady pace set for their walk over to his dorm and he stayed near Shane, making small talk so that it wouldn’t seem like they were having a big conversation and seem suspicious. Brayden was a little more cautious than Shane was, but it was better than not being cautious at all. The walk normally only took them about ten minutes at the max at this pace and all they had to do after they got to the building was go up the stairs. Second floor, last room on the right; being the last room added additional time for them, but it was well worth it. Once they had arrived to his dorm he unlocked the door and glanced back at Shane with a smile as he remembered all that had happened in his dorm. Nothing big had happened, but still very memorable because it was all Brayden’s first time’s that had happened in the small room. Setting his bag down he grabbed a different bag to put his things in, “So, what should I wear?” he asked, pulling open a dresser drawer and pulling out folded boxer briefs that he put in the bag. Everything was organized and folded in his dresser; all of them untouched besides by Brayden himself.

His past wasn’t something that Shane was proud of. If he would be allowed to take a step back and redo a few things, he would. But then again, his mistakes had lead him to be where he was now. It could have been way different and he wouldn’t of ended up with Brayden. They didn’t really speak about previous relationships and for Shane, that was just fine. He liked it this way so that no one got hurt with something that had happened and was unchangeable. There would be things that they needed to be concerned about in their future. Things that had happened in their pasts didn’t need to be brought up unless they really wanted to bring things like that up. Shane wasn’t really comfortable with bringing up his relationship history because there had been a time when he had jumped from person to person when he had felt like he would get too bored with someone and have to have something new to entertain his sheets. Now, he’d changed from that. He wasn’t that Shane anymore. He was the Shane that was ready to put a ring on Brayden’s finger.
Wait, What? A ring on his finger? Already? It’d only been five months since they had gotten together. But even with that a factor, Shane had never felt so strong for someone. Brayden was the one thing that made his life a little more easy to live. It wasn’t like he was going each day without ever smiling. Just the plain sight of the boy made his lips start to curl without him even trying to make himself smile. It wasn’t that Brayden was something shiny and new. They’d been together for five months now; his second longest relationship. Sadly enough to say, they had a while to go before they caught up to the two year mark Shane had with previous girlfriend, Claire. She’d gone mad the moment he told her they needed to just be strictly friends. With a sigh, he shoved the thoughts from his head without realization that his heart was racing from the thoughts of marriage. “Brayden, how can they possibly do that when they don’t even know about our relationship?” The question rolled off his tongue, waiting with a small smile. He knew that people weren’t tormenting Brayden. They just happened to be too friendly when Brayden was around.
Shane’s finger glided under the smooth curve of his lower lip, trying to mend the pout that had been placed there on Brayden’s lips. He leaned forward, gently brushing his own lips over Brayden’s in a small but affectionate kiss. He pulled back, returning the soft smile that happened to spread over his lips. “Besides. You have nothing to worry about. I love you.” The words were stern; honest and with-holding. His fingers lifted to brush the deep russet bangs from his boyfriend’s face, trying to lighten his perspective. He couldn’t ever take his words back. He honestly loved Brayden and he was almost sure -which was a scary thought- that his feelings would never change. His nose wrinkled and a small scowl crossed over his lips. “You know I don’t like it when you call me that.” When Brayden called him by the proper name a student was supposed to address his teacher with, it made him feel like what they were doing was completely out of line. Which it was. Shane had told himself it was forbidden of him to do such a thing with one of his students. But nothing could ever stop the ties that love created.
Brayden’s closeness made his heart start to jump again. The soft beat pushed against his chest, making a smile spread over his lips. He loved it when his body reacted in such strange ways when Brayden touched him. It had never really happened before and it made his security with Brayden feel a lot better. Feeling the gentle affection made his eyes flutter closed. Shane tilted his head, pushing his face closer to Brayden’s in the process. Shane wasn’t going to rush right out with their publicly of a relationship. That would cause far too much attention to be drawn to them and that meant they wouldn’t be able to have a stable relationship with too many people asking him questions if things were going on before Brayden graduated. His gentle smile widened some as he listened to his boyfriend speak. His own chin tilted down in a simple nod before his lips happened to be captured by the other pair. His pulse flared at the taste and the way Brayden’s lips happened to capture his. Shane pressed back with his own body, wrapping one arm around his waist and the other arm moved up to allow his hand to tangle into Brayden’s hair.
He loved kisses like those. They were just simply amazing with the way they took his breath away and made his heart rate incline so quickly. The adrenaline rushing thorough his veins made his body tighten. When Brayden pulled his lips back, he had to focus on remembering how to get air to his lungs. He sucked in a rich breath, slowly opening his eyes. His eyes were about to roll before he listened to the other continue. Seeing the devilish smile cross Brayden’s lips made Shane’s legs feel weak. That was something that was so rare to show on his face. It was always a sight when he actually got to see it. He swallowed nervously. But why was he so nervous? Brayden was just Twenty. It wasn’t like he was a big d- oh, but that was so wrong. He was a big deal. A very big deal in Shane’s case. A ring. Proposing. All of that. He smiled at the thought, looking at Brayden lovingly in response.
Once they were out of the classroom and in the open, he returned the small talk, but went silent when people came too close to them. He shifted his bag on his shoulder as he stood at Brayden’s door, already having the steps nearly memorized. Shane stepped inside, exhaling with a content breath as he set his bag down on the floor next to the door and followed after Brayden to his bedroom. His eyes turned to the bed then to his Boyfriend at the dresser. Shane stepped forward, smiling some as he wrapped his arms around Brayden’s waist and tilted his head forward and down to let his lips attach to his warm neck. “What ever you want, baby.” he breathed. His voice holding a seductive tone as he allowed his hands to slip under Brayden’s current shirt to press against the boy’s hips. Shane’s plush lips rushed over the skin, leaving small hickeys in random places. He pressed his body to Brayden’s, begging for the closeness.

Memories of the past and questions on Shane’s past were shoved out of his head because he didn’t want to make himself worry too much about the unknown. It was better off that way so that he wouldn’t ultimately ruin their weekend spent together. Patiently listening to Shane, he shrugged his shoulders aimlessly. The other students didn’t know that they were together, that was a sure thing, but he still had that weird feeling as if they did and they were taunting him by flirting and throwing themselves at his boyfriend. His nose scrunched up and lines formed at the bridge of his nose as he thought about it more before answering the older male, “Well, I know that they don’t know about us, but it feels like they do sometimes,” his pout stayed on his lip, but quivered up to linger away when he felt Shane’s careful caress across his lip. The pair of lips shifted into a small curve on the edges – a smile – while he was softly kissed by his boyfriend, “I shouldn’t, but I don’t like them all over my boyfriend,” that was always the reassuring sentence he got when he brought up the topic of the other students flirting with Shane. ‘You don’t need to worry. I love you.’ And he believed that sentence too and he had to force those thoughts from his mind just like the past questions. Brayden let those words play on repeat in his head so that it would be stuck there permanently instead of being washed off by worry and his weird case of paranoia.
“I’m sorry,” From the first day that they had started to go out he was told to call Mr. Evans, Shane; his first name. Which wasn’t a bad thing to ask, but sometimes it slipped up and he called him Mr. Evans out of habit during the classroom and even outside of class. Shane didn’t like being called that. Brayden assumed quickly that it made him feel older than he really was and with this relationship it definitely made him feel older than twenty-four. The proper name also made them both remember that Shane was a teacher and Brayden a student in his class, but to Brayden this wasn’t as bad as the administration made it seem like. He was an adult, and so was Shane, so he felt as if they could do as they wanted, but no one else saw it as that. They just saw it as a student/teacher relationship and immediately frowned upon such things, “Bad habit from the classroom,” a small expression spread over his whole face and it made him scrunch up his nose. He knew how bad it made Shane feel and he didn’t like hurting Shane or making him feel uncomfortable in any way. The guilt in his stomach and the expression on his face didn’t last long because he forced it away like all the other things. He got it out of his mind with a kiss that he pressed against Shane’s.
The red pulsing heart in his chest started to race and pick up speed from the kiss. His heart pushed blood out of his flustered face and down to other places. All of these reactions with his body both inside and out happened over a passionate kiss. These kisses made him feel so light and just invisible to everything around them. For a moment there with his eyes closed tightly while he moved his lips in slow movements against the other pair against his own, he was sort of invisible. It was only him and Shane in his head and nobody else in the whole world. His hands ran up to the side of his boyfriend’s neck as he pulled his face closer against Shane’s to deepen the kiss. His body arched up into Shane’s; burning for more touching than just his hands running over his sides and going into his hair, but it was the classroom and he had to save anything more to this weekend. Licking his lips slowly after he pulled away, his breathing was no longer a steady pattern but a panting that was noticeable, but as soon as he got enough air into his lungs he was able to return to his normal pattern. His eyes remained half closed, his body and brain still dazed from the kiss that he had brought on between them. Building his composure back up he smiled up at Shane still with a devilish hint to it and let go of his shirt that was clutched between his curled fingers.
There was no hurry once they were outside of the classroom and even once they reached his dorm room. Or at least not at first there wasn’t anything to be haste about. Brayden stayed in front of his dresser and contemplated what he was going to wear because he was always up for looking good no matter what they were going to do. Dressing up was fun, and he didn’t mean in the fairy princess way either, but in the looking nice and a little “business-y”. Pulling out neatly folded clothes after each other he packed a pair of pajama pants that were dark blue plaid and pretty comfortable to him. He grabbed a dress shirt and then two of his casual wearing graphic t-shirts that were neon bright colours. Bright colours were typical in his wardrobe and he felt like they made him stand out more than his short stature made him stick out like a sore thumb, “You are officially no help when it comes to clothes Shane,” he shook his head slowly at his boyfriend before he felt arms slowly wrap around his waist. A sense of safety wrapped around his whole body as he leaned back into the body behind him. Sighing contently, he tilted his head to the side and down to look down at the clothes he had to choose from. When it came to his pants there were only one type that he’d be found wearing; tight skinny jeans that acted like a second skin, all varying in different colours too.
A sharp inhale brought fresh air into his lungs when he felt the hickeys being placed randomly all over his neck. His neck was always covered in small hickeys that showed that his body was owned by someone, but that person was a secret from everybody else. He liked having that a mystery to people and to listen to them guess and play games to figure out who it was that Brayden’s heart and soul belonged to. Nobody ever guessed that it would be his very own teacher, even when he sometimes commented about Shane along with all the other immature girls. They all just scoffed and told him that he didn’t have any chance with getting a teacher like Mr. Evans. If only they knew that he already had the older male in his own bed and with him right now. These new thoughts made him smile and he felt his stomach sink in due to the touch from Shane’s roaming hands that were searching over known skin on his hips, “Mmm,” dark brown irises were hidden behind his eyelids as they fluttered closed and he leaned his body back against Shane’s. His boyfriend was very comfortable, but he didn’t need anything happening here in his dorm. At least not right now. Their plans were at Shane’s apartment, which he couldn’t wait for. Blinking his eyes open, he had to blink a few more times to get them focused again as he grabbed two pairs of pants and put them in the bag on top of his dresser with all of the other things. All he needed now before they left was his toothbrush so he wouldn’t have nasty morning breath.
“Shaane,” the name was slightly moaned out as he pushed the dresser drawer closed and zipped up his bag with clothes in them. Setting the bag down on the floor the wiggled his hips and body around so that he could look up at his boyfriend’s face. His hands rested against the other male’s chest, tracing small circles in it before he looked up into the matching eyes with his wide ones, “Can’t that wait until we get to your apartment?” he looked up and waited for the answer. Brayden didn’t want to do anything past what they had already done in his dorm, but at Shane’s apartment. They had the entire weekend for that and all he wanted right now more than anything was to get there. Shane’s apartment was like a forbidden area that he rarely went to and he wanted to get to that place again, “We have the entire weekend ahead of us. Let’s go… please?” his eyes were pleading in a way as they looked up at Shane with a lustful look somewhere behind the plead.

If he could of picked a different career, would he really do that? Sure, Brayden was here for the music portion of the fine arts college, but what if Shane had just kept his job as a bassist and went on doing that for the rest of his life. Would he still have met Brayden? There was a small chance that he could of, but with him being the teacher, wasn’t that just strange? There were so many musical colleges that Brayden could of picked. Why this one? Sure, the Vegas league was a good place to start out, but he could of gone to Chicago and gotten and even better teaching that he was getting here. Maybe that did have a little factor because they were in a relationship, but he was sure that Brayden knew what he was teaching. Sure, sometimes he did cheat and give him the right answers for the tests that the class conducted, but he couldn’t deny that sometimes he did tell Brayden know. He wouldn’t ever allow him to cheat on a large test.
But that was just his teaching job. Outside of that Brayden was one of the rare body of students that got to know what he did in his personal time. Brayden was a large part of that time, but when they went those few days without one another, it happened to make Shane have a lot of free time on his hands. He hated free time because it gave him time to think about the things that he wasn’t supposed to think about. Like for example of just how dangerous his relationship really was. He never wanted to hut Brayden, let alone ever have to tell him goodbye because he was being dragged off to jail. They did need to find a time to talk about what could happen if they could get publicized before Brayden’s graduation and what they would do if and when that happened. Shane shivered at just the mirror image of going to jail because he was in love with one of his students.
He wanted… wow. Was it really that early to be thinking about getting Married to Brayden? In fact, he felt that those words were so true in his thoughts that he could of said them out loud. He glanced down to the boy he was still withholding to his chest. Nope. Everything looked pretty normal. Well, if you could consider normal meaning Brayden’s eyes closed and his body leaning back into Shane’s while he placed wet kisses over his throat and neck. A grin spread over his lips at what slipped from Brayden’s mouth. He giggled, going back to the skin of his neck. He listened to the saliva transfer from his mouth to Brayden’s skin before he spoke. “I know,” He muttered, sighing contently against the crook of his boyfriend’s shoulder and neck. The hot air left his mouth, rolling down the skin. Shane stepped forward into Brayden, letting their legs intertwine. He didn’t want to let him go; not when all the feelings were just welling up in his body.
It was a shock just how much he wanted to have Brayden right then and there. Waiting the twenty minutes that it would to get over to his apartment would be torture. Hearing his name dash from Brayden’s lips in that tone made it an even harder decision. Shane was too occupied with the boy in front of him to notice that he was panting. He looked down at Brayden with a lustful stare, blinking a few times to try and get the words to comprehend in his mind. He had to repeat the words to himself a few times before he really got what Brayden had said. He looked down at the hands that were displayed against his chest. His dark eyes flickered back to Brayden’s face. Shane swallowed, nodding some. He had forgotten how to speak. Sex with Brayden would be a big thing. He leaned down, pecking his lip with a short kiss. He pulled back seconds later and exhaled to get his breathing back to normal. “Do you have what you need?” He tilted his head to the side, smiling innocently at Brayden.
